The Apprentice Electrician Position
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Electrician at EZ Electric, your day-to-day tasks will vary, providing you with a comprehensive experience in the electrical trade. You will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, learning the intricacies of each task. Core Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities
Standard Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation of residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring for outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Pull and route electrical cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits.
- Prepare conduit and assist in mounting electrical boxes and panels.
- Maintain job site organization, including inventory management and tool preparation.
- Perform basic tasks like wire labeling and clean-up to support project progress.
- Shadow experienced electricians to gain hands-on knowledge and develop skills in electrical installations and safety practices.
Advanced Technical Duties
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Support in the installation of complex electrical systems such as HVAC control systems and security systems.
- Participate in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required Experience & Skills

- 0-2 years minimum experience as an Apprentice Electrician.

Essential Certifications
