Healthcare Commercial Electrician Role
As a Healthcare Commercial Electrician with Expert Wire, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the electrical systems within healthcare facilities and other commercial environments are safe, efficient, and up to code. You will join a dynamic team of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding electrical services in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Your expertise will support critical infrastructures, contributing to the seamless operation of healthcare facilities and other commercial projects.
Requirements for Healthcare Commercial Electrician
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption to operations.
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
Required Certifications and Experience
- Confined Space Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Proficiency with Thermal Imaging Cameras
- Familiarity with power tools, specifically Milwaukee and DeWalt brands
- 3-5 years of electrical experience in commercial projects
- Valid electrical license for the state of Texas
Physical and Safety Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Preferred Experience
- Extensive experience using Milwaukee and DeWalt power tools
- Demonstrated success in executing commercial electrical projects, particularly within healthcare settings
Location & Schedule
- Primary Location: Pflugerville, TX
- Neighboring Cities: Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, and Hutto, TX
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime as project demands dictate
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $33.83-$37.92 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
