Electrical Foreman Position Overview
EV GO in Cerritos, CA is urgently seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman for long-term projects focused on the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The ideal candidate will lead field operations, ensuring projects meet design specifications and safety standards while adhering to deadlines. You will be responsible for overseeing commercial electrical systems, managing field teams, and ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks.
Qualifications for Electrical Foreman
- 5-7 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman
- Active journeyman electrician certification from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and California Electric Code, with hands-on experience in EV charging station installations
Responsibilities for Electrical Foreman
- Lead installation and maintenance of EV charging stations, ensuring compliance with safety and project standards
- Oversee installation of commercial electrical systems, including service panels and transformers
- Allocate tasks to journeymen and apprentices, maintaining efficient operations and safety protocols
