Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure.
• Perform server installations and decommissions.
• Manage cable plant documentation.
• Implement hot/cold aisle containment.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and perform power circuit installations.
• Maintain battery backup systems and monitor environmental controls.
• Execute change management procedures and manage equipment lifecycle.
• Perform network hardware installations and maintain security protocols.
• Support regional compliance with New Jersey’s environmental and safety standards.
• Collaborate on the New Jersey Smart Grid Initiative, enhancing local energy efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships for regional hardware and software suppliers.

Required Qualifications

• BICSI Data Center Technician certification preferred.
• Experience with critical infrastructure management and DCIM systems.
• Proficiency in dressing and terminating cables.
• Strong documentation skills and change management experience.
• Clean background check required.
• 3-5 years of experience in data center work within a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with New Jersey state regulations for data centers.
• Ability to work on-site in Edison and surrounding areas.
