As a CCTV Fire Alarm Designer at Convergint in West Jordan, UT, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of fire alarm systems within a security environment. Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities for Security Projects: Design and develop comprehensive fire alarm systems tailored to diverse environments, including corporate offices, government facilities, and healthcare centers. Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to ensure the systems meet their specific requirements and comply with all safety regulations.
• Required Certifications: NFPA 1042, NFPA 70 certifications are essential to ensure compliance with national safety standards and best practices in fire alarm design and installation.
• Experience With: Proficiency in using Fire Alarm Testing Equipment, Fire Alarm Software, and Fire Alarm Design Software is critical to perform accurate assessments and develop effective designs.
• Typical Projects: Engage in a variety of security projects, focusing on creating robust and reliable fire alarm systems for corporate offices, government facilities, and healthcare centers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, demonstrating competence in electrical systems and fire alarm technologies.
• Licensure: Valid electrical license for UT, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience with Fire Alarm Testing Equipment and Fire Alarm Software.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $39.63-$46.98 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
