Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical system diagnostics utilizing power quality analyzers, thermal imaging, and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot building automation system integration issues and design power factor correction solutions.
• Diagnose and repair complex lighting control systems and manage emergency power system testing and maintenance.
• Develop tailored maintenance programs for critical facilities and provide comprehensive repair documentation and recommendations.
• Train facility staff on the proper operation of electrical systems and coordinate with utilities on service upgrades.
• Conduct arc flash assessments and ensure proper labeling.
• Partner with regional agricultural facilities to enhance electrical efficiencies.
• Participate in community safety initiatives and educational seminars in Idaho Falls.
• Ensure compliance with Idaho-specific electrical codes and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a Journeyman License, with a preference for Master Electrician certification.
• Advanced certifications in power quality analysis and extensive experience with diagnostic equipment, including thermal imaging.
• Proven expertise in critical power systems and ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across various systems and manufacturers.
• Certification in building automation systems and experience with arc flash studies and safety program development.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Journeyman role within a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with Idaho’s unique environmental challenges and power needs.
• Knowledge of regional compliance requirements for critical facilities.
