Electrical Foreman Position Overview

Collins Electrical is urgently seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman for long-term projects in Pico Rivera, CA. We need a dynamic leader to supervise the installation and maintenance of commercial electrical systems, with a strong focus on EV charging stations. As our Electrical Foreman, you’ll manage field operations, ensuring project designs and safety standards are met while mentoring and guiding journeymen and apprentices.

Qualifications for Electrical Foreman

• Experience: 5-7 years as an Electrical Foreman with commercial electrical expertise.
• Certification: Active journeyman electrician certification from the California DIR.
• Skills: Extensive knowledge of NEC and California Electric Code; experience with EV charging installations.

Responsibilities for Electrical Foreman

• Lead the installation and maintenance of EV charging stations, ensuring compliance with designs and safety standards.
• Oversee the installation of commercial electrical systems, including service panels and transformers.
• Plan and allocate tasks for journeymen and apprentices, maintaining efficient and safe field operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and ensure NEC and California Electric Code compliance.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to team members, collaborating with project managers and clients to resolve challenges.
