Your Daily Tasks as a Mechanical Field Service Technician

As a Mechanical Field Service Technician, your day will start with a briefing on the day’s objectives and safety protocols. You’ll be tasked with removing and reinstalling motors, pumps, and gearboxes, making use of your rigging skills to safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces. Precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment tools will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Diagnosing mechanical failures and proposing proactive solutions will also be on your daily agenda. Additionally, you’ll:

• Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Assist in the installation of new mechanical systems and ensure they meet operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

What You Need to Be a Mechanical Field Service Technician

Compensation
