Position Overview

Black Box Voice & Data is seeking a skilled Security Alarm Installer to join our team in Frisco, TX. This role is focused on delivering top-tier security solutions to educational institutions, including universities, K-12 schools, and training centers. As a leader of a team of 4-6 technicians, you will travel regularly to nearby major cities, ensuring the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge security systems. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to support the safety and security of our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4-6 technicians in installing and maintaining security alarm systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems, CCTV, IP camera systems, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all installations.
• Conduct site assessments to determine security requirements and system placements.
• Collaborate with educational institutions to develop tailored security solutions.
• Provide leadership and technical training to team members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in security technology and tools.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in security alarm installation or related field.
• ASIS PSP and NICET Level II certifications.
• Proficiency in access control systems, CCTV, IP camera systems, and intrusion detection.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to nearby major cities.
