Bidram Electric in Brea, CA, is urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our long-term projects. We need a dedicated professional to join our team, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, especially those related to electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electrical services, working closely with project managers to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- 3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- Valid journeyman electrician certification from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
- Expertise in NEC and California Electric Code, with a focus on EV charging station installations
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- Install and maintain electrical systems for EV charging stations, including service panels and transformers
- Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit for precise installations
- Perform load calculations and ensure compliance with electrical codes
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet construction schedules
- Supervise apprentices, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
