Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Valid journeyman electrician license.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC codes.
• Proficiency in conduit bending and electrical tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and leadership abilities for managing apprentices and teams.

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems, including switchgear and transformers.
• Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT, rigid) for installations.
• Perform wire pulling, labeling, and termination, ensuring secure connections.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like multimeters.
• Collaborate with other trades to execute installations within schedules.
• Supervise apprentices, guiding them on techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain organized and clean job sites, adhering to safety standards.
