Qualifications for Cable Installer

• Experience Required: 3-5 years as a Cable Installer
• Technical Skills: Proficient in structured cabling, fiber optics termination and testing, and knowledgeable about TIA/EIA standards.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage tools and inventory efficiently.

Responsibilities for Cable Installer

• Install structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
• Terminate and test cables with precision tools and advanced testers.
• Organize network racks, patch panels, and cable trays.
• Dress and bundle cables to meet industry standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues during and after installations.
• Interpret blueprints and construction diagrams for accurate installations.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate cabling systems.
• Maintain installation records and adhere to quality and safety protocols.
