Your Daily Tasks as an Audio Visual Technician
Install, Configure, and Test AV Systems
Your day will typically start with reviewing project blueprints and understanding client specifications. You’ll install and configure various AV systems, including projectors, displays, speakers, and microphones, tailored to the needs of our corporate and commercial clients.
Route, Terminate, and Label Low-Voltage Cables
You’ll be responsible for routing, terminating, and labeling low-voltage cables. This task requires precision to ensure secure and neat installations, which are crucial for maintaining the system’s integrity and performance.
Mount and Align AV Equipment
Mounting and aligning AV equipment, such as wall displays and ceiling speakers, will be part of your routine. You’ll adhere to site plans and industry standards, ensuring everything is perfectly aligned for optimal performance.
Perform System Troubleshooting and Calibration
