Security Alarm Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Security Alarm Project Manager to join our team in Provo, UT. This pivotal role is critical to the successful execution of security alarm projects, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of service from conception through to completion. The Security Alarm Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from planning and design through to installation and final commissioning.

Essential Functions

• Project Management: Lead and manage security alarm projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and client representatives, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the highest standards of safety and security.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety protocols.

Required Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• PRINCE2 Practitioner

Experience Requirements

• Proficient in using project management software, code analysis tools, and design software.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in settings such as corporate offices, government facilities, and healthcare centers.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a valid electrical license for UT.
• Project Management: Proven experience with project management software and code analysis.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures relevant to security projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design software for security systems.
• Prior experience managing security projects is highly desirable.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Provo, UT
• Neighboring Cities: This position may require occasional travel to neighboring cities such as Orem, Springville, Spanish Fork, and Lehi.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours, with flexibility to work outside of these hours as project demands require.

• Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $41.13 to $47.69 based on experience and qualifications.
