Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL
Position Overview
AVI SPL in Coronado, CA is looking to bring aboard a Low Voltage Security Installer with experience in working within healthcare settings. With a focus on low voltage security systems, you’ll contribute significantly to our team by installing, troubleshooting and maintaining safety and security systems in hospitals, clinics, and medical centers. While the job primarily operates during standard business hours, occasional weekend or holiday work may be required to meet the demands of our clients. The role involves working across multiple project teams and requires travel up to a radius of 100 miles from the Coronado area.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Access Control Systems, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and IP Camera Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair systems as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems operational
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and to provide high-quality service
- Travel to client locations within a 100-mile radius
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in installing and maintaining low voltage security systems
- ASIS PSP and Security+ certification
- Familiarity and experience with Access Control Systems, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and IP Camera Systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET Level II certification
- Experience working in healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of Coronado and the surrounding areas
- Ability to work with various project teams
