Fire Alarm Installer Low Voltage at AVI SPL

Position Overview

AVI-SPL, a leading provider of digital workplace services, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Fire Alarm Installer Low Voltage for our operations in Sausalito, CA. The applicant will be directly involved in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency communication, and mass notification systems in a variety of entertainment settings. The potential candidate for this role needs to be a seasoned leader capable of leading a team of 4-6 technicians, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time. Regular travel to nearby major cities is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision and leadership of a team of 4-6 technicians in executing installation projects.
• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage fire alarm systems, smoke detection systems, fire alarm panels, etc.
• Ensuring all installations are done in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
• Regular travel to client sites in nearby major cities.
• Recording and reporting of project progress to management.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in fire alarm systems installation.
• NICET Level III certification.
• NFPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of emergency communication, mass notification, smoke detection, and fire alarm panels.
• Ability to travel regularly to nearby major cities for project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a leadership role.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Prior working experience in entertainment settings like hotels, convention centers, and sports venues.
