Fire Alarm Installer Low Voltage at AVI SPL
Position Overview
AVI SPL in Arvada, CO is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer specializing in low voltage systems. We work in a variety of education-focused environments ranging from universities to K-12 schools and training centers. As part of our dynamic project teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients’ facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and inspecting low voltage fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local regulations
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with fire alarm panels, emergency communication systems, smoke detection systems, and mass notification systems
- Working across various project teams to ensure a seamless delivery of service
- Traveling within a 100-mile radius to service multiple clients
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years of experience in fire alarm installation, particularly in low voltage systems
- NFPA and OSHA 30 certification
- Proficiency in fire alarm panels, emergency communication, smoke detection, and mass notification systems
- Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius
Preferred Qualifications
- NICET Level III certification is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Arvada’s local regulations and requirements related to fire alarm systems
