Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Installer for Low Voltage systems to join our team at AVI SPL in Alameda, CA. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of 4-6 technicians in installing fire alarm systems in corporate environments, including Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and possess a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems while adhering to codes and standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 technicians, distributing tasks and ensuring quality control.
• Conduct system testing to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with all safety regulations.
• Coordinate with customers and project managers to meet project timelines and expectations.
• Travel within a 30-mile radius for job assignments.

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation, particularly low voltage.
• Must possess Factory Certifications and OSHA 30 certification.
• Technical competency in working with Fire Alarm Panels, Smoke Detection, Mass Notification, and Emergency Communication systems.
• Excellent leadership skills with a capacity to make decisions independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• NFPA Certification is highly desired.
• Previous experience leading a team or managing a project.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, corporate environments.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills and professionalism.
