Position Overview at 3D Communications
The Fire Alarm Tech will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire alarm systems in office buildings primarily located in Foothill Ranch, CA, and surrounding areas. The technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems in office buildings.
- Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to execute projects efficiently.
- Document all service and installation activities accurately.
- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
- Offer technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at 3D Communications
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Notifier Certification.
- Experience with Fire-Lite Systems and Notifier Systems.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems.
- Advanced experience with Fire-Lite Systems.
- Specialized experience in office building projects.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools related to fire alarm systems.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Foothill Ranch, CA.
- Additional locations: Irvine, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and Laguna Hills.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.96-$33.39 per hour.
