Job Description

Helix Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our San Francisco team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, overseeing all aspects from planning to execution
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients
• Negotiate contracts and change orders with clients and subcontractors
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in electrical project management
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• PMP certification preferred
• Familiarity with LEED standards and sustainable construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
