Job Description:

Prime Partners is currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in commercial and residential settings. This includes tasks like troubleshooting electrical issues, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
2. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
3. Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests on electrical systems and components to identify hazards and defects.
4. Ensure all electrical installations are compliant with the National Electrical Code.
5. Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications.
6. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
7. Respond to emergencies and repair electrical malfunctions.
8. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to complete projects within the scheduled time.
9. Train and mentor apprentice electricians.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Valid state Journeyman Electrician license.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience working as a licensed Journeyman Electrician.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary tools.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
5. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
6. Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work in different environments.
8. The ability to climb ladders, operate lift equipment, and carry loads up to 50 lbs.
9. High school diploma or equivalent.
10. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
