Position: Journeyman Electrician Location: Fresno, CA (and surrounding areas including Clovis, Sanger, Selma, and Kerman) Company: Prime Partners

Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as supervising and training electrician assistants on the job. Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
2. Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
3. Conduct electrical system troubleshooting to prevent equipment failures.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
5. Train and supervise electrician assistants and apprentices.
6. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes during all installations, repairs, and maintenance.
7. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment while ensuring safety, and building codes.
8. Communicate with customers and team members in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Must have completed an electrician apprenticeship.
3. Valid state Journeyman Electrician license.
4. Proven experience as an Electrician.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
6. Aware of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
7. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Physically able to complete the job tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, stooping, and lifting heavy equipment.
10. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to pass a drug test.
2. Must have a clean driving record.
3. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
4. Must be able to work in different environments including outdoors, confined spaces etc.
5. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
6. Must be able to travel to different job sites within Fresno and its surrounding cities.
