Position: Commercial Electrician Location: Pasadena, CA Company: Prime Partners

Job Description:

Prime Partners is a leading electrical contractor based in Pasadena, CA. We are currently seeking both Apprentice and Journeyman level commercial electricians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in electrical work in commercial buildings such as offices and hospitals.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to understand the layout of electrical systems.
2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
3. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, and identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
4. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
5. Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical malfunctions using a variety of testing devices.
6. Ensure safety standards and building regulations are met and followed.
7. Collaborate with construction and architectural teams on new builds.

Qualifications:

1. Valid state Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician’s License.
2. 2+ years of experience in a commercial or industrial electrician role.
3. Understanding of electrical blueprints and schematics.
4. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Service Area:

The job requires the electrician to service Pasadena and surrounding cities.
