Job Description

Helix Electric is looking for experienced Journeyman Pipefitters to join our San Francisco team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in various industrial and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for industrial processes, HVAC, and plumbing
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to precise specifications
• Perform pressure tests to ensure system integrity and safety
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in piping systems
• Collaborate with other trades to coordinate project timelines and requirements
• Mentor apprentices and less experienced team members
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial pipefitting
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, welding techniques, and system design
• Familiarity with relevant codes and safety standards
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
