Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician, assisting in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and fixtures.

2. Understanding and applying blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

3. Ensuring compliance with state and local electrical codes.

4. Participating in on-the-job training as well as classroom instruction.

5. Assisting in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

6. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

7. Ensuring the safety protocols are met at all times during work.

8. Assisting in the preparation of job estimates and material orders.

9. Keeping inventory of equipment and tools.

10. Documenting processes and maintaining service records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Enrollment or completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.

3. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.

4. Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed electrician.

7. Good communication and teamwork skills.

8. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.

9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

10. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required.

As an apprentice, you will receive both on-the-job training and classroom instruction, eventually leading to an opportunity to become a licensed electrician.
